Why You Should Use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Go back

Passwords alone aren’t enough to keep your accounts safe. That’s where Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) comes in—it adds an extra layer of security. Here’s why you should enable it:

  1. Stronger Security: Even if someone gets your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the second form of verification (like a code sent to your phone or a fingerprint scan).
  2. Protect Your Info: MFA protects your sensitive data and ensures only you can access your accounts.
  3. Prevents Unauthorized Access: If a hacker gets your password, they still won’t be able to get in without that extra factor of authentication.

How MFA Works

When you log in, you’ll enter your password first. Then, you’ll be asked for a second factor—like:

  • A one-time code sent to your phone
  • A code from an authentication app
  • Your fingerprint or face

This makes it much harder for someone to break into your account, even if they have your password.

Why It Matters

MFA is a small extra step that makes a huge difference in protecting your accounts from hackers. It only takes a few minutes, but the added security is well worth it!

Action Step: Set up MFA on your work accounts today—it’s one of the best ways to keep your information safe.
