Prevent the Domino Effect

When you are using the internet, it is important to take measures to enhance your security. One way to do this is by creating separate profiles for different types of online activities. A Timely Nudge for Regular Data Safeguarding

Regularly creating data backups is crucial for protecting against potential losses caused by cyber attacks. Following the 3-2-1 backup strategy, which involves maintaining three copies of your data on two different media, with one copy stored offsite, enhances the resilience of your information. This practice is especially important because, in some instances, paying a ransom does not guarantee the return of stolen data.

Some Defaults are Exploitable

It has been observed that a significant number of routers fail to prompt users to change the default administrative credentials while setting up the device. This creates a potential vulnerability for cyber attackers to exploit the known default credentials and gain unauthorized access to the network with ease. To prevent such security threats, it is highly recommended to establish a strong and secure password that is difficult to guess or crack.
